Chess Grandmaster Ivan Sokolov from the Netherlands gave a lecture during his stay in Elsenore, Denmark, while playing in the Danish ”Xtracon Chess Open” tournament in July 2017!
Ivan Sokolov has won the national chess championship of the Netherlands and also of his former country, Yugoslavia, and he has been European champion in rapid chess.
The subject of the lecture was ”material imbalance”, based on the recent books, authored by Ivan Sokolov, of the chess middlegame.
The lecture was recorded by Tom Skovgaard (DK) from the organizing team.
