1. In the BAKU chess Olympiad many of our former FS players will come and you can ask them about our tournaments. Some names: IM VALDES, Leonardo (CRC), IGM PACHER, Milan (SVK), IM GARA, Anita (HUN), WGM PAPP, Petra (HUN), IM SMIRNOV Anton (AUS) They will be happy to answer the questions.
2. We are close to the start of the FIRST SATURDAY Budapest 3-13 Sept GM-IM event, if somebody wish more info, pls contact me. This last time we will conduct our event in the hotel MEDOSZ, from October on in the Hotel BERLIN in Budapest. (15 min to travel from the city center Vaci utca by the 133E bus) We have some vacancies yet…Maybe somebody wish to come in the last minute?
3. The HARKANY Open tournament will be from 17th until 24th November there. I have a moral engagement to take part in the organisation of that event – I love the city, its thermal baths and the organizers are old friend of mine.
4. In some days a 6 x 6 Taxi Budapest company will produce 200 pieces First Saturday T-shirts. If somebody wants one, tell me, we will organize somehow to get it.
